Dianthus

Dianthus is considered a cool season plant. It does very well in spring and fall when temperatures are a bit cooler, however new varieties have been bred to handle hot, summer conditions well also.

The variety that we grow is one of the newer, summer flowering varieties. It does best in an area that gets partial shade, preferably in the afternoon.
