Coleus

Coleus have been a standard for growing in the shade, but now there are varieties that also do well in the sun. Coleus are grown not for thier flowers, but for their colorful foliage.

Make sure you keep the soil moist since they will do poorly if they are allowed to wilt badly for any length of time.
