Browallia

Browallia is native to tropical areas of South America. It is a very tender perennial that grows well here during the summer months, but must be protected from any spring or fall frosts. Browallia is one of the few blue flowers that will grow well in a shaded area. It is often a bit slow to start blooming, but once it starts, it goes on until it freezes in the fall.
