Bacopa

Bacopa is a favorite of container growers. It excels in either pots or hanging baskets. It also does great in a location where it can cascade over a wall or window planter.

For best results it needs to be kept evenly moist. Even though it will grow and bloom very nicely in full sun and cool temperatures, it helps if it has about one quarter to one half shade during the heat of mid summer. It does very well on an eastern exposure where it gets afternoon shade.

Bacopa is low growing but spreads up to 24 inches wide. Three plants fill out a ten inch hanging basket very nicely; or it does great as a component of a mixed planting.
